Yes, but for volunteering less than one month, we only accept applications and participation in group form. If you have ample time and want to gain a deeper understanding of Siem Reap and the villages we serve, we encourage you to consider volunteering for one month or longer.

Even if the volunteer positions we have listed may not align with your expertise, we believe that as long as you are willing to try or offer the talents you have, God will use you. In principle, we do not provide volunteers with a salary as compensation. We expect all volunteers to have their own donors or supporters who can financially support all their expenses in Cambodia throughout the volunteering program.

The cost of living will depend on how long you will be staying in Cambodia and your standard of living. Daily expenses such as local food and daily items, are usually more affordable compared to Hong Kong. However, imported items like cheeze, milk, air conditioners, refrigerators, or high-end dining can be relatively expensive.

Based on previous experience, we recommend setting aside at least USD 1,300 for one month of expenses, which covers basic daily costs but does not include emergency expenses, special travel and other cross cultural experience. Additionally, there are some one-time costs, such as flight tickets, purchasing a motorbike, transpotation, applying for Visa, emergecy & contingency money & insurance fees.

If you are interested in volunteering for more than one month, we will assist you in creating a personal budget based on your expectations and your cultural context.

We now have a tiny house which only provide limited capacity of shared room accommodation with air-con and basic facility in village. For volunteers participating in short-term volunteering, we will assist you in selecting a hotel or hostel that meets your expectations. For those participating in medium- to long-term volunteering, we will help you find more affordable housing option.

After successfully completing the volunteering program application process, we will assist you throughout the entire visa application process at the nearest Cambodian Embassy in your home country or online application.

The type of visa will depend on how long you will be staying in Cambodia. We will work closely with you to apply for the most suitable visa based on your situation.

If a visa extension is necessary, we will also assist you to handle the entire process.

Different types of Visas will have different prices. If you are planning to serve in Cambodia for a relatively long period of time, we will assist you to apply for an NGO Visa, which is free of charge. If you are staying in Cambodia for a shorter period of time, a Tourist Visa or Business Visa might be more suitable for you. The approximate cost of these Visas can check online as it will change from time to time.

If you are interested in learning Khmer, you can come and take Khmer language courses in town or take an online course. Internet access in easy here. We will encourage long-term volunteers to learn Khmer, but even if you have not been exposed to Khmer, it will not be a blocker for you coming here to serve.

Your weekly schedule will depend on the volunteer positions you choose to participate in. In addition to our regular Saterday & Sunday celebration (Kids & Teens service) in the village, we will work with you to arrange your time flexibly. Monday is usually our local team day off. We expected you also will take a day off together.

Of course, we would encourage you to take a week off every three months to fully have a good rest for your body, mind and spirituality. During the vacation time, you will have the opportunity to visit, relax, or retreat at attractions in or around Siem Reap. We will explain the detailed vacation arrangements to you after accepting your application.

Of course, you will have the opportunity to follow local ministry workers to visit families in the village, and you will also meet and play with children and youths at the weekend Celebration every week. If you want to serve local families more closely, it is important to be able to speak Khmer. But even if you do not the local language, body language and other forms of participantion and service can still show your care and love for local people through your wholehearted smile and actions.
