Mission Exploration Program
Rethinking the Role of Missionaries
Have you ever come across the term “mission” in church? Who have you heard it from, and in what contexts?
Many stories about “mission” can be found outside the church walls.
“Mission” is something that resonates with every Christian and is woven into our everyday lives. It’s often said, "Life is mission. Mission is life." Being a disciple of Jesus means living each day with a sense of purpose, sharing His teachings and loving one another. No matter where you are, you CAN be a part of it!
Discovering Your Unique Gifts
, gene, From the moment you became a Christian, God invited you to be a part of the missionary, yes, you are in! You might wonder: What can I do? How can I contribute? If I’m not very talkative or outgoing, and I don’t have a lot of experience, am I still “qualified” in God’s eyes? Does He really want to use me?
We truly believe that everyone has something special—like a hidden gene—waiting to be discovered. Each of us has unique personalities, interests, passions, gifts, and experiences that God wants to use in unexpected ways.
Your Invitation to Be on Mission in Daily Life
Perhaps this Cross-Cultural Mission Exploration Program is an invitation for you. Just like Abraham, it could challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new places, helping you learn to rely on God’s guidance and provision. You might find yourself on an incredible adventure with Him.
This journey may not be as intimidating as it sounds. It could simply mean immersing yourself in a new environment, discovering different cultures, and connecting with amazing people. We believe that in every moment of uncertainty and unfamiliarity, you’ll experience God’s abundant love and grace, gaining deeper insights into the beautiful plans. He has for you.
Statement of Purpose
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-10)
As a non-denominational Christian organization, we engage, empower and walk along with local disciples in Cambodia, simultaneously connecting them with passionate Christians from Hong Kong and beyond. Through this partnership, we believe we can inspire one another to discover more ways to do ministry more innovatively, with higher cultural sensitivity and self-sustainability, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve!
